UD dominates DSU in 2016 season opener

The University of Delaware literally ran over Delaware State in the 2016 college football opener for both teams.

The Blue Hens out-rushed the Hornets 395 yards to 35 in a 56-14 rout at Delaware Stadium Thursday night.

Wes Hills led UD, piling up 212 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 19 carries.  Jalen Randolph added 55 yards and two scores on the ground.

Delaware’s defense also shined, forcing 6 turnovers and sacking DSU quarterbacks 4 times.

The 1-0 Blue Hens visit Lafayette next Saturday, September 10th.
