Wesley College head football coach Mike Drass joined an exclusive coaching club Saturday.

The Wolverines’ 44-24 win over Christopher Newport in Dover gave Drass his 200th career win – all at Wesley College.

Drass is one of only 74 coaches all-time at any level to notch 200 victories, and one of just 15 active coaches with 200 or more.

And just over two dozen, including former University of Delaware coach Tubby Raymond, have managed the feat at one school.

Senior quarterback Joe Callahan threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns to help the 5th ranked Wolverines take care of business in their home opener.  Running back Jamar Baynard added 181 yards rushing and three scores.

The milestone win came Wesley honored Drass by officially naming the field at Scott Miller stadium “Mike Drass Field.”

The 2-0 Wolverines travel to Chicago next week to face 13th ranked North Central.  North Central is 1-1 after losing to #22 Wisconsin-Platteville 35-38 in overtime Saturday.
