There’s is a winner in last night’s drawing for the huge $425 million dollar Mega Millions jackpot.
The bad news for Delawareans is - it was NOT in the First State; although there was a $10,000 ticket holder in Delaware.
Delaware Lottery officials have NOT yet revealed where the winning ticket was sold.
We do know that the lone $425 million winning ticket was sold in New York for the New Year’s Day drawing for. Delaware has still never had a Mega Millions jackpot winner.
The jackpot was the eighth largest in Mega Millions history and just the fifth drawing ever on New Year’s Day.
The lucky winner, who has NOT yet come forward, has a cash option of $254.6 million dollars.
Seven other players won at least $1 million after matching all six numbers but NOT the Mega Ball. So check your tickets carefully. The luck $10,000 winner in Delaware matched four of the numbers and the Mega Ball.
The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday night were 34, 44, 57, 62, 70 and the Mega Ball was 14.
