VP Biden to speak at DSU's 2016 commencement

Delaware State University has landed Vice President Joe Biden as its 2016 commencement speaker.

The school announced Tuesday that Biden will speak to the Class of 2016 at its graduation ceremony on May 7th.

Biden previously delivered DSU’s commencement speech to 450 graduates in 2003 when he was still a U.S. Senator.

Two years ago as Vice President, he was the University of Delaware’s commencement speaker.

DSU officials say the school’s 2016 graduation ceremony – and Biden’s speech – will help kick-off the school’s celebration of its 125th anniversary.

Delaware State expects about 700 students to graduate May 7th as part of its Class of 2016.
