Delaware has a 7th COVID-19 death.
Public health officials announced the additional fatality Monday along with 32 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus. The latest fatality is a 92-year-old Sussex County woman with significant underlying health conditions.
The total number of confirmed cases statewide since March 11 is now 264.
46 people are hospitalized with the virus, and 22 people have recovered.
State officials have announced clusters of cases at the Little Sisters of the Poor nursing home and the Harborchase assisted living facility in New Castle County, and are investigating cases at two additional long-term care facilities. DPH says that due to the low number of cases at those facilities they cannot provide their names.
The State Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families announced Monday one case is a staff member at the Ferris School, a secure treatment school for court-committed boys in New Castle County.
The Department says there have been no symptoms reported among students or other staff.
And Gov. John Carney Sunday ordered anyone who enters Delaware from another state to self-quarantine for two weeks. That order went into effect at 8 a.m. Monday.
