Odessa's Corbit-Sharp House transformed into The Secret Garden

Historic Odessa Foundation
The Historic Odessa Foundation’s is offering visitors a chance to dive into the classic children's book - The Secret Garden.";

The Historic Odessa Foundation’s holiday offerings include its annual tribute to a memorable piece of literature.

This year, parts of the Corbit-Sharp House have been transformed into scenes and vignettes from the classic children’s novel, The Secret Garden, written by English novelist and playwright Frances Hodgson Burnett.

“Basically it’s about transformation and reformation and rejuvenation; it’s a great story about friendship and love and it’s a perfect fit for this holiday season,” said the Historic Odessa Foundation's associate curator Brian Miller.

Each year, the Historic Odessa Foundation recreates scenes from a classic piece of literature at the Corbit-Sharp House as part of its holiday celebration.

This year’s exhibit is already open and runs through Dec. 29, 2019.

More information about The Secret Garden and the Historic Odessa Foundation’s 2019 Christmas Holiday Tours is available at the foundation's website.
