There were no winners in either the MegaMillions or Powerball drawings over Christmas weekend, and now their jackpots are worth over $600 million combined
MegaMillions has not had a winner since late October and that jackpot is now at 277 million dollars for Tuesday’s drawing is $247 million. It’s the fifth largest MegaMillions prize in the past four years and the biggest since it reached $393 million back in August.
$337 million will be on the line in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing. That is the 25th biggest jackpot ever in the U.S. and the largest Powerball jackpot since it climbed to nearly $759 million last August.
Delaware has never had a MegaMillions jackpot winner. The state’s last Powerball winner came in last December when a winning ticket worth nearly $122 million was sold at a Selbyville gas station.
The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are one in 258 million.
The Powerball odds are about one in 292 million.
