Blue Rocks bats quiet as they fall again in Carolina League title series

The Blue Rocks have their backs against the wall in the Mills Cup Carolina League Championship series.

The Rocks dropped Game 2 of the best of five series at home Monday night, shut-out by Myrtle Beach 2-0 at Frawley Stadium.

Four Pelican pitchers limited Wilmington to just four hits while striking out 9 to grab a commanding 2-nothing series lead.

The series now shifts to Myrtle Beach where the Pelicans will try to take the Carolina League title in a sweep when they host Game 3 Wednesday night.

Games 4 and 5, if needed, will also be at Myrtle Beach.
