The filing deadline candidates to run for three commissioner seats in Dewey Beach has passed. And it appears only four candidates tossed their hats into the ring.
Incumbents Commissioners Paul Bauer and Dale Cooke are seeking re-election, as is Mayor T.J. Redefer. Newcomer Philip Rowe hopes to unseat one of them.
Voters will head to the polls in Dewey on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
Residents can meet the candidates this Saturday, August 31, 2019. The Dewey Beach Civic League will host a candidate forum, starting at 5 p.m. at the Dewey Beach Lions Club on McKinley Street.
