Republican presidential contenders all on First State primary ballot

All of the remaining contenders for the Republican Presidential nomination will be on the ballot for April’s Delaware primary.

Ben Carson and Ted Cruz have had the signatures they filed to qualify approved, joining Marco Rubio, John Kaisch and Donald Trump.

Jeb Bush also qualified to appear on the ballot, but has since suspended his campaign.

On the Democratic side, Bernie Sanders is on the ballot, but according to the state elections, Hillary Clinton is not yet.

The deadline for candidates to file signatures is this Friday, February 26. That’s also the deadline for voters to change their party affiliation for the primary.

Those deadlines fall two months before Delaware's April 26th primary. The last day to register to vote in the primary is April 2nd.
