Another Sussex County resident under investigation for the novel coronavirus disease Friday has tested negative.

The news follows a negative COVID-19 test result out of Sussex County Thursday.

So far, there have been no confirmed cases of the deadly coronavirus in Delaware. Nine individuals have tested negative.

The state’s public health laboratory was approved to begin testing for COVID-19 Monday, and public health officials say they anticipate testing could be done daily.

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf announced two presumptive positive cases there Friday, including one in Delaware County, which borders the First State.

Three cases were also announced in Montgomery County, Maryland.

And three more presumptive positive cases have been reported in New Jersey, including one in Camden County. There are now four cases in New Jersey.
