The 480-residence mixed-use plan was approved in a 3-2 decision during council’s December 16th meeting.

Sussex County announced earlier this year it will begin work updating its Comprehensive Plan immediately- nearly a full year earlier than County Council originally planned the process to begin.

Sussex County’s initial code was the strictest in the state, and many argued created a de facto ban on marijuana industry in Sussex County.
