As part of our 2020 Election coverage, Delaware Public Media is once again offering a series of Candidate Conversations.

We reached out to all candidates filed to run in the races for U.S. House and U.S. Senate, as well as Governor, Lt. Governor and Insurance Commissioner and invited them to sit down with us.

Candidates in each race are being asked about the same set of topics to allow you to get to know them and compare them.

The race for U.S. House features 4 candidates challenging the incumbent, Democrat Lisa Blunt Rochester.

On this edition of The Green, we feature the Libertarian and the Independent Party of Delaware candidates in the race, David Rogers and Cathy Purcell.

Purcell is running for statewide office for the first time.

Rogers is also making his first run at statewide office.

There are more primary challenges on the ballot next week than usual, especially on the Democratic side of the political fence.

Delaware Public Media’s Sophia Schmidt takes a look at whether the culture of primarying in the First State is changing.
