Get the latest on the First State’s ?races for U.S. Senate and U.S. House.

Two of the First State's three seats in Congress are up for grabs Tuesday in the 2018 Midterm election.

In Delaware's U.S. Senate race, three-term incumbent Democrat Tom Carper faces Republican Rob Arlett, a former Sussex County Councilman and President Trump's Delaware State Chairman during the 2016 presidential election.  Carper defeated Kerri Evelyn Harris in a September primary, while Arlett won his primary with Gene Truono.

The race also features a pair of third party candidates: Libertarian Nadine Frost and The Green Party's Demitri Theodoropoulos.

The race for Delaware's lone U.S. House seat pits incumbent Democrat Lisa Blunt Rochester against Republican Scott Walker, a surprise primary winner who was disavowled by the state GOP following a series of racist and sexist comments on social media.  Blunt Rochester is seeking a second term in the House.  There are no third party candidates in the U.S. House race.
