Rehoboth Beach Main Street is seeking nominees for the 2019 Cottage and Town Awards.
The Awards recognize efforts by residential and commercial property owners that contribute to the charm, beauty and history of Rehoboth Beach.
Greer Maneval, chair of the Cottage and Town Awards Committee, explains why architectural renovation, restoration and preservation are important.
“Because history is such a big part of where we are and it’s such a strong influence; it always has been. You know, this is how this whole piece got going because it was a tradition of local citizens that started this whole process,” said Maneval.
Maneval notes categories this year include: residential renovation, commercial renovation and landscape architectural renovation.
Nomination forms, guidelines and eligibility to participate can be found on the Rehoboth Beach Main Street website.

The Cottage & Town Awards presentation will be at The Pines Restaurant, in Rehoboth Beach on Sunday, May 5 at 1 p.m.
Winners will receive an embossed bronze plaque for their home or business.
