If you want to cast a ballot in Delaware this year, you’ve only got a short time to register to vote.
Registration closes just before midnight on Saturday.
There are a few ways to do it:
- You can go in person to one of the county elections offices in Georgetown, Dover or Wilmington until the early afternoon
- Libraries across New Castle County are registering voters throughout the day
- Online registration is open until 11:59 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.
The county elections offices are also extending their hours for any voters casting an absentee ballot through the beginning of November.
Anyone mailing in an absentee ballot must have it postmarked by Friday, Nov. 4, while in-person ballots can be cast until noon Monday, Nov. 7.
