A charitable foundation launched in honor of Beau Biden this week has raised $180,000 since Tuesday alone.
The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children aims to assist young victims of domestic violence and abuse.
The Delaware Community Foundation is partnering with Biden's family to run the charity. DCF marketing director Allison Taylor Levine says the money they've received so far is made up of many more small gifts than usual -- 600 on Thursday alone, compared with their norm of 600 per month.
She says most gifts are around $100, though they've ranged from $5 on up to $25,000. You can find out how to donate at the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children website.
