The Illusionists, Live from Broadway this week at The Playhouse on Rodney Square

The Illusionists - Live from Broadway - is coming to the Playhouse on Rodney Square in Wilmington this week.

On the heels of a highly successful multi-city tour and run on Broadway, the world’s best-selling touring magic show, The Illusionists - Live from Broadway - is coming to Wilmington this week.

Kevin James, also known as The Inventor, is one of five illusionists participating in the show at the Playhouse on Rodney Square.

He explains what he brings to the show.

“My character is The Inventor, so I kind of create all of my own material. So you’re going to see things that you’ve never seen before because I’m the only one on the planet that does it. I do, I try to evoke some sort of emotion out of each illusion and I try to make them all different,” said James.

James also pointed out his act provides a few shocking illusions.

“I have a terrible accident with a chainsaw and two body parts chase each other around the stage and I put them back together with a staple-gun,” James said.

You can see The Illusionists on stage at the Playhouse on Rodney Square in Wilmington this Thursday through Saturday.

Show times and ticket prices are available online at the Playhouse on Rodney Square website. More on The Illusionist, can be found at the show's website.
