The William "Hicks" Anderson Community Center offers a warm place to stay and meals through breakfast Tuesday.

About 150 people moved into the community center between Saturday and Tuesday, when they were then spread out between local shelters, churches and hotels.

Some parts of the state could see as much as a foot of snow.
