Delaware’s FY24 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report receives incomplete financial statements from the Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund again.

Delaware’s Departments of Labor and Finance delivered a joint report to legislative leaders Tuesday recounting a former employee embezzling over $180,000 from the unemployment compensation fund.

Department of Labor and Department of Finance secretaries wrote in a letter to legislative leadership they would provide a report in July for review, but House Republican Leader Mike Ramone worries that could be starting the process too late.
