As many youngsters welcomed in 2020 at their own special event on New Year’s Eve in Wilmington, they shared what they are looking forward to in the coming year.

The Delaware Children’s Museum held a special "New Year’s at Noon" party for kids, featuring music, confetti cannons welcoming 2020, and children and adults looking to the future.

Jonathan was older than most at the party, and he has big aspirations for the new year.

"I'm chopping wood to make some money," he said. "So, I'm hoping to get more of that and then I'm hoping to buy some dirt bikes fix them up and make even more money."

Maocello is from Wilmington, and has a measured approach heading into 2020.

"A good day, a good year, that's basically it, a good year."

Sadie from Felton is going the route of many adults.

"Go to work out classes with my mom."

Even parents got into the spirit, including Gary Logan, who has this wish for his son.

"He's in kindergarten now," said Logan. "My hope for him is just to have fun too with family and just a prosperous New Year and continue to grow up and just keep what he's doing. We're so proud of them and he's doing great."

Others shared Logan’s sentiments when talking about their own children, or kids in general.

No matter their age, everyone in attendance is looking forward to a prosperous and great 2020.
