Five people vie for two seats on Milford City Council in April

The slate is set for next month’s Milford City Council election.

Five people are vying for seats in Wards 1 and 3 on Saturday, April 27.

Current Ward 1 Councilman Chris Mergner is not seeking re-election. Three people are running to fill the seat - former Mayor Daniel Marabellow, Cindy Schofield and Samuel Passwaters, III.

In Ward 3, Vice Mayor and incumbent Councilman Doug Morrow faces challenger Brian Baer.

Second Ward Councilman Todd Culotta and 4th Ward newcomer Jason James, Sr. are both unopposed, so no formal election is needed for those seats.

Milford residents must register by March 28th to vote in the upcoming election.

If you have questions about the election, you can call the City Clerk’s Office at 422-1111.
