Delaware Public Media is looking for a Producer to join our team providing statewide coverage of the First State as we enter our second decade as Delaware’s source for NPR News.
We’re looking for a motivated and creative person to play a key role and a provide a fresh voice in developing local content our awarding-winning news magazine, The Green, and other projects,
- Work independently to conceive, propose, plan and research ideas for programs and segments
- Write, produce, edit and mix show segments and interviews for air and web.
- Work with high school students learning journalism as part of DPM's youth media program at area high schools
- Occasionally research, write, produce and/or edit stories for all day parts and weekend, as well as web.
Job qualifications include:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience to BA degree major in journalism, mass communications or other related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional newsroom preferred, but not required.
- On-air broadcast experience preferred, but not required.

General Manager/ Station Manager
Are you ready for a leadership position in a statewide public radio operation? We are looking for a GENERAL MANAGER/ STATION MANAGER. We need a jack of all radio trades. Someone to guide programming decisions, manage traffic and sales. Someone with an eye for marketing, able to guide fundraising efforts and produce fund drives. A person who can guide and execute radio content, and who knows a radio board. This is an exciting position to help guide the direction of this growing statewide NPR affiliate.

Underwriting Account Manager
The right person will be responsible for achieving underwriting revenue goals by developing a sales strategy for the Delaware market and building and maintaining relationships primarily with Delaware businesses to achieve revenue goals. You’ll be a key part of overall marketing efforts and maintain relationships with businesses in the state and help DPM grow in the next ten years.
