DRBA accepting applications for summer internships

DRBA

The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) is offering summer internship opportunities in multiple career fields and applications are being accepted now.

This is the eighth year the DRBA is bringing in summer interns.

DRBA Public Information Director Jim Salmon says those interns get a wide ranging experience.

“It’s a 10-week summer commitment. The internship is comprised on on-the-job experience, project and leadership development, involvement with senior leaders and cross-functional team experiences. Participants will actually work on practical assignments and specific projects in their respective career fields,” said Salmon.

Salmon says more than 50 students from Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey and neighboring states have participated over the years, and the internships have been very well-received.

“We have internships available in the following departments:  communications/public relations, engineering, culinary/hospitality, executive administration, human resources, maintenance, safety and environmental department and our marketing and social media department,” said Salmon.

Salmon notes that this summer’s internship program begins on June 3rd; applications have to be submitted no later than April 5th. You can submit your application and resume here.
