Delaware Public Media

Four incumbents were re-elected Saturday to fill open seats on the Bethany Beach Town Council.

Bethany resident Rosemary Hardiman was the top vote-getter with 572 votes.  Resort residents Faith Denault and Lew Kilmer each got 527 votes. And resident Bruce Frye got 525 votes.

There was only one challenger - a non-resident of Bethany - Russell Evans; he received 303 votes.

All the winners will be sworn in during the Bethany Town Council’s September 21, 2020 meeting.
