Mailey replaces Jim Elder who becomes Chief of the expanded Bureau of Healthcare, Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Services on November 1. Elder is replacing Marc Richman who left DOC after heading the Bureau of Correctional Healthcare Services for four years.

Community Corrections oversees probation and parole, pretrial services, work release, electronic monitoring and other supervision programs for more than 14,000 individuals statewide.
