New Castle County Executive-elect Matt Meyer has announced his selections for three of his administration’s leadership positions.
Meyer’s nominations are for the roles of general manager of the department of community services, county attorney and director of economic development.
New Castle County Council will have the opportunity to approve Marcus Henry as General Manager for the Department of Community Services in early 2017.
Marcus has served as Economic Development and Policy Director for New Castle County for the past four years. He joined New Castle Government after serving as Director of Development for the Wilmington Housing Authority and working in administrative positions at the Delaware State Housing Authority and Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
Carol Dulin has been nominated as County Attorney, and has served as Legal Counsel to New Castle County for the past five years. She previously served as County Solicitor for then-County Executive, now U.S. Senator, Chris Coons, where she provided legal counsel to department head.
Tamarra Morris has been named Director of Economic Development. Morris comes to county government after 15 years in the private sector. Most recently, she worked for the global firm Greystar, which specializes in real estate development, construction and property management of rental housing properties.
