Dinosaurs roam in Delaware Natural History Museum's newest exhibit

Delaware Natural History Museum

The Delaware Museum of Natural History is sending young people back to the Jurassic period with its new dinosaur exhibit.

Dinosaur Revolution explores 150 million years of dinosaur history and will show visitors why dinosaurs were some of the greatest survivors the world has ever seen.

"It’s a very active exhibit. It’s a maze. They will have the opportunity to glide and climb and stomp like real dinosaurs. But then they get to become junior paleontologists and explore how dinosaurs lived and what they did," Communications Manager Jennifer Acord said.

The exhibit will debunk popular dinosaur myths and show visitors new discoveries, Acord said.

Fossils from the Mid-Atlantic and early human artifacts from the Delaware Valley will be on display.

Dinosaur Revolution opens Feb. 4 at the Delaware Natural History Museum in Wilmington. It runs through May 29.
