Slam Dunk to the Beach set to return with new partner

Position Sports

The Slam Dunk to the Beach basketball tournament returns to Lewes this December as part of a partnership within a regional showcase.

The Slam Dunk to the Beach high school tourney returns from a one year hiatus forced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

And it will now be part of a series of regional events connected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

It will be operated by Position Sports and partner with Hoophall East under the Hoophall umbrella.

Slam Dunk remains a holiday tournament - slated for December 27-29 at Cape Henlopen High School

The event will also be known as Hoophall East - joining Hoophall West in Scottsdale, Arizona, Hoophall Central in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Hoophall South in Bentonville, Arkansas.

After the four regional events there will be a Hoophall Classic at the home of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts from January 13-17, 2022.
