Downtown Delaware and the Delaware Economic Development Office announced the locations for the 2014 Project Pop-Up Wednesday.
The initiative, which awards businesses with three months of rent-free commercial space during the holiday season, will utilize 11 properties this year. Pop-Up locations include Middletown, Milford, Seaford, Smyrna and Wilmington.
Along with the chance to expand their businesses in formerly vacant properties, entrepreneurs will also be have the assistance of a business advisor from the move-in phase to the grand opening.
Project Pop-Up began with two locations in 2012 and expanded to five last year.
Interested entrepreneurs can apply for this year’s Project Pop-Up through August 6. The chosen business owners for the 11 properties throughout Delaware will be notified by August 28.
