Delaware’s is seeing a declining number of COVID-19-related hospitalizations and and its percentage of people testing postivive is also dropping incrementally as it prepares to start Phase 1 of its formal reopening June 1.
And after saying Monday how was impressed he was with how well the Memorial Day weekend went at Delaware' beaches,Gov. John Carney Tuesday announced he is endng the ban on short-term rentals in the First State and the 14-day quarantine requirment for out-of-state visitors on June 1.
Carney is expected to discuss these and other recent developments in the state's COVID-19 response at his Tuesday press briefing.
