The Kent County Public Library is closing its doors again.
Gov. John Carney’s COVID-19 stay-at-home advisory that goes into effect next Monday is prompting the move.
Starting this Friday, the Library is discontinuing in-person visits to browse or use public computers until further notice.
Curbside pick-up of library materials placed on hold resumes Monday, December 14, 2020. Curbside pick-up will be available by appointment, Monday through Friday, between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Library patrons can also use the outside book drop to return library materials.
To schedule a curbside appointment, call (302) 744-1919.
The Kent County Library closed to the public on March 17, 2020 - shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic began, then reopened on a limited basis on November 16, 2020.
