Delaware reports four new COVID-19 deaths

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

State Health officials report another four coronavirus-related deaths over the weekend.

Delaware’s death toll now stands at 604.

To date, nearly 17,000 people have tested positive for the virus in the First State.

Meanwhile, trending data remains largely flat. There are 38 statewide hospitalizations with seven people considered critically ill. An average of 4.4% of coronavirus tests in Delaware are coming back positive and the state is reporting an average of just under 67 new cases per day.

Nearly 9,000 people in Delaware have recovered from the virus.
