Drivers around Wilmington may have to take a detour over the next two weekends as crews patch up a section of I-495.
I-495 northbound will be closed from the I-95 exit to Route 13 starting Friday at 8 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.
The roadway north of Route 13 will still be open to traffic.
DelDOT says maintenance crews will be patching seasonal cracks and potholes that have built up over the winter.
Drivers heading north on I-95 will have to detour around Wilmington at exit 11 on Naamans Road.
Those coming from the Delaware Memorial Bridge will take Route 13 to where it connects with I-495.
These same closures are set for next weekend, too.
DelDOT will post message boards and detour signs to help guide drivers.
