A stormy forecast is keeping most Independence Day fireworks shows grounded across the state .

Pyrotechnic displays in Dover, Middletown, Newark and Wilmington are all canceled tonight, though some are quickly rescheduling.

Middletown and Newark will both take place Tuesday at the same time and place, while Dover will save their fireworks for a Labor Day celebration in September.

It’s unknown whether Wilmington will reschedule.

A show in Bethany Beach is still tentatively on for tonight, but organizers are watching the forecast.

Firework fanatics in Hockessin can still catch their show as of now, with no rain date set.

Two other displays in Dewey Beach and Smyrna are also still scheduled as of 1 p.m.
