Dover voters have selected new mayor.
Robin Christiansen won the five-person race for the post.
Christiansen, a former Dover city councilman and council president, received 658 votes or just over 39 percent of the ballots cast.
Current City Councilman David Anderson was second with 534 votes or about 32 percent.
No other candidate received over 200 votes.
Christiansen will replace former Mayor Carleton Carey, who stepped down in April following allegations that he abused his power by influencing the appointment of Dover’s deputy police chief.
Christiansen will be sworn in June 25th and serve out the remainder of Carey’s term, which ends next May.
