Thousands of New Castle County residents are without power in the wake of this morning icy winter storm.
As of 3pm Wednesday afternoon, Delmarva Power reported multiple power outages in Northern New Castle County leaving just over 7,100 without electricity.
DelDOT reported downed trees and power lines throughout the morning caused by ice building up on branches and lines.
