Delaware's COVID-19 death toll rises by 6, hospitalizations dip again

Delaware reported 6 new COVID-19 related deaths Monday and 156 new cases.

The total number of deaths statewide is now 332.

The latest victims were between 66 and 98 years old. One lived in New Castle County and five were from Sussex County. All six had underlying health conditions.  Four lived at long-term care facilities.

The state has a total of 8,965 cases since March 11th.

Current hospitalizations fell by 6 to 205. That’s the lowest level it’s been at since April 13th when it was at 204. 41 people are critically ill.

Another 95 patients are considered recovered from the virus, bringing that total to 4,693 since the start of the outbreak.
