There was one winning ticket sold for Tuesday night’s whopping $522 million Mega Millions jackpot. It was not in Delaware.
Mega Millions officials say the winning numbers drawn were 1, 2, 4, 19 and 29, with the Mega Ball number 20.
Officials say the ticket was purchased at Ernie's Liquors in San Jose, California.
Tuesday night’s jackpot was the fifth largest ever for the Mega Millions game and the 11th largest in U.S history.
Delaware has never had a Mega Millions jackpot winner in the game’s 16-year history.
Eight tickets sold matched the five white balls to win the game's second prize. Six of them - worth $1 million each - were sold in Arizona, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota and two in New Jersey. The other two were sold in Massachusetts and Texas and included the optional Megaplier. Those winners will each get $3 million.
