Students at Delaware State University present their production of Ain’t Misbehavin’, the 1978 Tony Award Winner for Best Musical, this week.

The production is a salute to the Harlem Renaissance stride piano musician Thomas “Fats” Waller and features a number of his songs.
The production’s director, Dr. Shirlyn Henry Brown says the show is near and dear to her heart.
“I have a love of this show. I just totally love this show. I love the music and what its stands for," said Henry Brown. "My favorite song is Black and Blue because it asks all the questions - why am I so black and blue, the struggle and even how we overcame that struggle. It just has a special place in my heart,”
The show is free and open to the public. Show times are 7:30 on Thursday and Friday nights at the Education and Humanities Theater on the DSU campus.
