More winter weather leads to more delayed school openings

A second blast of winter weather in as many days si expected to make a mess of the morning commute again in the northern part of the First State Tuesday.

And that means another morning of adjusted school schedules.

In New Castle County, Appoquinimink, Brandywine, Christina, Colonial New Castle County Vo-Tech and Red Clay School Districts are opening two hours late Tuesday.

In Central Delaware, Smyrna School District is also opening two hours late.

Delaware State University will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday while the University of Delaware will open late at 11a.m.

 

The City of Newark is also opening two hours late Tuesday.
