Relying so heavily on a hands-on experience, many children’s museums around the country have struggled throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some have even closed their doors permanently.
Here in the First State, the Delaware Children’s Museum on the Wilmington’s Riverfront has stayed closed since March.
This week, Delaware Public Media’s Roman Battaglia chats with the museum’s executive director Jen Bush about how it’s handling the pandemic and how COVID could change its operations once it reopens.
An initiative to shine a light on neighborhoods in need and help them diminish crime while building a sense of community is making progress up and down the First State.
