Delaware State Fair announces 2015 concert lineup

Delaware Public Media

A classic American boy band, a Canadian rocker and a pair of Nashville favorites will play the First State this summer.

The line-up for the Delaware State Fair was released late Tuesday.

The annual event runs from July 23 to August 1 at the state fairgrounds in Harrington.

One of the world’s best selling groups of all time, New Kids on the Block are among the headliners. Formed in Boston, NKTOB disbanded in 1994 and reunited in 2007.

Multiplatinum recording artist Bryan Adams will perform as part of his 30th anniversary “Reckless” Tour.  The musician’s iconic 4th CD produced six singles which made it to the Top 15 on the Billboard music charts.

Country music fans will appreciate the remaining announcements.

Grammy nominated Nashville based singer-songwriter Josh Turner and Country Music Association award winners Little Big Town will also perform at the M&T Bank Grandstand at this year’s Delaware State Fair.

Tickets for Josh Turner go on sale March 27, the remaining shows on March 20.

The state fair announced the first act in their concert series in November, contemporary Christian rock band Casting Crowns. Those tickets are on sale now.  An additional concert announcement is yet to come.
