In this week’s Enlighten Me – we head to WMHS at McKean High School in the Red Clay School District - one of the two schools we partner with on our Generation Voice Youth Media project
Students there - and at our other partner WMPH at Mount Pleasant High School in the Brandywine School District - produce a bevy of interviews and projects on a variety of topics throughout the school year.
This week, we bring you a few examples of recent student work.
The first piece comes from senior Angelica Sandoval, junior Ben Anderson and sophomore Jocelyn Torres, who examine the need for better financial literacy education in school.
Next,we have junior Dominic Toscano, who delves into issues arising from dress code enforcement at McKean.
We close with sophomores Kemari Fountain and Kayla Molina,who examine the quality cafeteria food students get.
