Some First State schools will be getting a late start in the wake of yesterday’s burst of winter weather.
In New Castle County, Appoquinimink and New Castle Vo-Tech School Districts are opening two hours late.
In Central Delaware, Smyrna and Polytech School Districts are operating on two-hour delays.
Also, The University of Delaware’s main campus in Newark will open late at 9:30 am to give crews time to clear sidewalks and pathways.
