A winter storm watch issued yesterday by the National Weather Service has been canceled but snow is still likely for most of Delaware.
Lance Franck is a meteorologist at the National Weather Service station in Mount Holly New Jersey. He says that driving on Tuesday morning could be tricky.
“We are expecting some issues for the rush hour with temperatures around freezing especially across the northern half of the state where we are going to have the heavier snowfall and colder temperature," he says.
We could also get wind gusts of up to 20 mph.
Snow will mix with rain in the Delmarva Coastal region and a coastal flood watch is in effect for Sussex County until 1 pm Wednesday.
