Wesley College moves up Div. III football rankings

Wesley College is rewarded in the national rankings for its season opening victory.

The Wolverines move from fifth to fourth in this week’s D3Football.com Top 25 following their 35-20 win over Thomas More in Dover Saturday.

Thomas More remains #22 in the poll despite the loss. Wisconsin-Whitewater still sits atop the Division III rankings, followed by Mary Hardin-Balyor and Mount Union.

Wesley gets another tough test this weekend when it visits its Route 13 rival Salisbury. The Sea Gulls st just nine points outside the Top 25 after winning their opener 41-32 at Christopher Newport.

Saturday’s Wesley-Salisbury showdown is 6pm kick-off at Salisbury.
