Governor Jack Markell officially has two new members in his cabinet.
State senators Wednesday confirmed former Delaware State Police superintendent Robert Coupe to be the new Department of Correction Commissioner.
Coupe takes over for Carl Danberg who left the DOC for a judgeship in the Court of Common Pleas.
Lawmakers also approved Markell’s choice of Jennifer Ranji, a former educational policy advisor, to head the Kids Department.
Former Kids Department Secretary Vivian Rapposelli was appointed to the bench of the Delaware Superior Court.
