The race for state treasurer: Colin Bonini

State Senator Colin Bonini (R-Dover South) already knows he’ll be on the ballot for State Treasurer in November’s general election.  Bonini faces no primary challenger on the Republican side as he makes his first run at a statewide office.

Bonini, a self-described fiscal conservative, has earned a reputation in the legislature for voting “no” on state budgets and bills involving any kind of increase in state spending.  His campaign for treasurer revolves around a promise to bring the same “watchdog” mentality to the treasurer’s office.
