A controversial effort to build a dock along the Delaware River in New Jersey to export of liquefied natural gas is a step closer to fruition – with a little help from Delaware.

Delaware River Basin Commission gave its final approval for the plan Wednesday– with Delaware casting a “yes” vote.  The approval came in the face a strong opposition from a variety of groups and local governments – including some in the First State.

Contributor Jon Hurdle reports on this week’s vote and the opposition to the planned LNG operation.

The Historic Odessa Foundation (HOF) is breaking from its tradition of indoor holiday tours this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

But they are still celebrating the season outdoors - with thousands of lights adorning the Historic Houses of Odessa for visitors to enjoy as they walk the grounds.
